Inns Washington Va

I need directions through public transportation in Washington DC.?

Hi There.
I booked a hotel through Hotwire. The comfort inn in Falls Church VA (6111 Arlington Boulevard). However, it’s far away from a metro station and that hotels doesn’t always offer free shuttles to the metro. I called the hotel and they are unable to tell me what bus to take from the closest metro to the hotel. Therefore, can anybody help me?

Their closest metro is: Ballston Metro Station and I need to get to 6111 Arlington Boulevard.
I know I can cab it but it would be costly to always cab it back and forth.

Can someone let me know?
Thanks.

The Metrobus 1A route will get you from the Ballston Metro station to your hotel in about 15 minutes. Here’s the detailed information from the Metro website http://www.wmata.com from where you can also get exact bus times.

BALLSTON STATION BUS BAY C

Board 1A BUS towards Vienna

Exit bus at PATRICK HENRY DR & ARLINGTON Blvd

Walk 0.10 mile SE to 6111 ARLINGTON BLVD

$ 1.50 Fare

For what it’s worth, the hotel is being lazy. They could easily have a Route 1 bus schedule at their desk for the convenience of their guests. You may want to mention this to their manager.

Also, that hotel used to have a free shuttle bus to the East Falls Church Metro station. Not sure if they still have one (haven’t noticed it for some time…)
