Inn Off The Park
Are any of the hotels in NYC good?
Hi,
My friends and I are going to NYC for spring break. We got all the the prices off of 1800hotels.com, but the prices just looked too cheap to be real. We are looking at the following to hotels to stay at for the week:
*Hampton Inn Manhattan Madison Square Hotel
*Park South Hotel
*Tudor Hotel
*Envoy Club Apart Hotel
If you have any other suggestions please let me know.
Whichever one you choose you best be sure to ask if they have Bedbugs.
No…I’m NOT kidding, there’s an infestation of Bedbugs in NY Hotels.
“Bedbugs continue to disrupt New Yorkers’ sleep. Since July, the city’s 311 hot line has registered 4,000 complaints about the nocturnal blood-sucking creatures, 1,700 of which resulted in violations issued to building owners across the city.”
“Anyone who stays in a hotel, rich or poor, can bring them home in a suitcase,” said Richard Kourbage, whose company, Kingsway Exterminating in Brooklyn, does about a dozen bedbug jobs a day. “Some of the best hotels in New York have them.”

“The Helmsley Park Lane was sued two years ago by a welt-covered guest who blamed the hotel for harboring the critters. The suit was quietly settled last year.”
