My wife and I are getting away for a weekend in Wisconsin Dells. We have two children and this is the 2nd time we have left alone (first time Vegas) that is housed in the ho-chunk. I wanted a place away from children only for adults. We are pushing because they are from Chicago and are trying to stay close to home. Would you recommend Wisconsin Dells or would like to go elsewhere. We have been to the canyons with dozens of times children, so I know the area well. We are willing to drive up to 4 hours from Chicago and are looking for a romantic getaway with a lot of things to do and places to eat. We do not like bed and breakfast places or stations that are so far from everything. We do not want to fly this time and are willing to drive a little further 4 hours if the location is awesome. We agreed to make this thing a year to keep our marriage healthy.
