Which glacier in Alaska should I see by helicopter?
We are taking an inside passage cruise in early June and only have one opportunity to see a glacier via helicopter or puddle jumper. I will be traveling to the following destinations Ketichkan, Juneau, Ancorage, Denali, and Mt. Mckinley Princess lodge near Talketna. Please advise which glacier will be the best to see via air.

Ketchikan: Fly the Misty Fjords Fixed Wing float plane
Juneau: The Mendenhall Glacier Trek or Dog Sledding (Helicopter), you can also fly float plane to Taku Glacier and do a salmon bake.
Anchorage: The “Big Apple”; you’ll have enough to do.
Denali: Two choices: Helicopter with ERA aviation “Denali Excursion”. Second choice and my personal “MUST DO IN DENALI” Timberline Aviation’s Mt. McKinley Summit Flight Seeing (Tell Roger Fisher your pilot John said Hello!)
Mt. McKinley Princess: You’ll fly Denali again so pass and do a jet boat safari instead.
To narrow the field…
Fly Mendenhall with North Star Helicopters in Juneau, and do the 4 hour glacier trek. (Whale watching is a very popular excursion here also, and you can combine these two activities).
Fly the Summit of Mt. McKinley with Timberline Aviation and the Mt. McKinley Summit Flight Seeing Tour. Fully Pressurized Gulf Stream Turbo Commander (Executive style twin engine seats 8 passengers and everyone has a window). Roger is a phenomenal pilot. My father recommends him highly; not a bad recommendation from a retired Blue Angel Pilot!
