Where should you be in Chicago?
I'll be in Chicago with my husband over the weekend of October 24. I would like some advice about local where to stay in Chicago or surrounding areas. We would prefer to stay in a nearby area to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, but also sufficiently about to travel by subway every day. We are looking for a bed and breakfast or hotel within walking distance of a subway station. We love being outdoors so a wooded area would be great. Our budget is $ 130 per night. If you are familiar with the area or can offer some ideas, please do so. Thank you.
I am Chicago, the closest suburb to the north in Evanston, are quite expensive, but not just search for motels in Evanston IL. mites and just found something nice and affordable! but it all depends which side of chicago or will be near the center, south, north? Evanston is more perfect for North Chicago if you must be near North Chicago or near the center. Also, go to rta.com that Chicago public trans. info. is very important u know the transit system before you get here if that last being the main form of travel to avoid detours and the like. I also used a step Evanston line intercity bus that can not run as frequent as CTA buses. so expect to help, I knew I would be or in Chicago, so I can pin point have fun!
