First year anniversary approaching…what did you do for yours?
Our one year wedding anniversary is on a Sunday next month….but what I would like to do is make reservations where we had our reception and stay overnight (it is a historic Inn about 40 minutes from us). Problem is, money is tight as my husband lost his job due to the economy and the bill for our anniversary will probably run us close to $350.
Do I just say screw it and charge it because our one-year only happens once…..or do we just make dinner reservations and sleep at home? I’d hate to have that day pass us by and do the bare minimum.
We also have a little boy….so anything romantic at home would be out of the question!
What did you do for your one-year wedding anniversary??
Actually our anniversary fell on Easter Sunday. So we ended up having everyone over for Easter dinner. Not too romantic. Although my husband did play our wedding song that day and we danced.
I’m not sure what you should do. If you feel like the 350 would be worth it go for it.
