The story behind the Tutwiler Hotel Haunting
There were stories that this hotel is haunted by Colonel tutweiler itself. People who have been here and they themselves mention that the colonel is not limited to wander through the aisles. In fact, some years ago, had a bartender got into trouble because he left all the lights and stoves of his restaurant after closing time. The waiter insisted that everything is shut down before leaving the restaurant. However, each Once returned to the kitchen and the rooms, everything was turned on again.
He went home after resigning to turn it off again and again. The incident happened and was repeated for a week. At the end of the week, the manager noticed someone cooked a big meal and a bottle of wine last night. Since then, the restaurant and hotel staff say that before leaving the hotel, "Good night Colonel, please turn the lights on and off the stove, and not make a mess." No No problem arose again after that.
There are still rumors about wandering spirits in the hotel, but not like before. This is since the renewal of the last hotel 2007. Many believe that the renewal of driving away the spirits of old, as they seem to have resided in each building structure.
The Hotel New Tutwiler
After the 9 million worth of hotel renovation in April 2007, its charm is irresistible, especially with new interiors, timeless, fine outdoor furniture. It also recently announced its relationship with the Hilton family and now showing itself as a Hampton Inn and Suites Hotel. The new property park is located opposite the city's civic and the bustling financial district.
This historic hotel is truly amazing. Exceeded a hundred years charm. Therefore, their amenities and features are modern and new. In fact, the hotel does not have that "cookie cutter" rooms, which have a unique design for each room. Each is equipped with large wooden windows with spectacular views down underground.
I also love the beds. They are smooth, height and with lots of pillows high. This is actually the luxurious Cloud Nine bedding known as a hallmark of every Hampton Inn and Suites Accommodation. The beds have a quilt soft mattress topper, soft yet firm pillows and several linen sheets high. Other amenities include a 32 inch flat screen TV with over 75 channels (cable), a portable desk, DVD player, ergonomic chairs, clock radio, and digital thermostats large tables and large wardrobes, curtain Hampton shower, hair dryer and coffee maker.

The first blow to the history of Pack Golf
You can spend a day playing a round of golf with this package. The best part is that you can play in the Highland Park Golf, golf course Old Alabama. The package consists of a round of golf, with capacity for 2 people. Valet parking is also guaranteed. However, you must communicate directly the hotel for a scheduled tee time. They are based on availability, of course. This package is good, 31 December 2008 until 31 December 2009.
Family Fun & Adventure Package
Enjoy a night full of fun with the whole family downtown with this package. The package includes suite accommodations for the Tutwiler, 4 tickets to the IMAX film combo and exhibition hall, continental breakfast and parking at McWane Center and the Tutwiler Hotel. You can even check out the hotel library, flat screen TVs and appetizers.
