Suggested routes for a 7-10 day hike in France, doing aprx. 15 miles a day, sleeping in inns & small hotels.?
Looking for suggested 7-10 day hikes in France, doing around 15 miles per day. Not camping out, but hiking from town to town, staying in B&Bs or small inns or hostels. Thinking about taking the dog, so suggestions there would be welcome also. Not looking to climb huge mountains (Alps/Pyrenees), but some stress-free relaxation. Time frame would be this August. I’ve heard to stay away from the coast at that time due to crowds. Open to suggestions!
follow the loire river through the loire valey, the scenary is beautiful and hotels can be cheap or go for some styl every now and again and stay in a chateaux
