Extended stay hotels in Bay Area? (Peninsular region)?
My wife and I are relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area from out-of-state. We haven’t found an apartment yet, and we would like to stay at an extended stay hotel or apartment as we conduct our housing search.
Are there any inexpensive, short-term (a week, two weeks or up to a month) housing options for those who are moving to the Bay Area?
I have stayed at an Inn-Town Suites, which offered a comfortable hotel/apartment-like stay at nice weekly rates. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a location in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Are there any other decent weekly-rate hotels or apartments in the Bay Area (preferably in the Peninsular/Palo Alto/Mountain View area)?

I’ve seen an extended stay hotel south of the San Francisco airport, but have not heard of one in Mountain View, or weekly rate hotels in Mountain View
