Inn Business Plan
I’d like to own my own business!?
I love people, and I love taking charge, being creative and problem solving. I work BEST under pressure. I’ve thought about owning a small inn or something but what are some other options and what can you tell me about them from personal experience? I plan to get a associates and maybe a bachelors degree in business. Thanks for all your answers!
I’d like to own a business. Seriously. No gimmicks no schemes. NO catalogs. And the BrendaB thanks but no thanks.
None of those are reputable, or make you much money.
Im talking about a life long kind of thing.
ALONG THE SAME LINES AS OWNING YOUR OWN SMALL HOTEL.
Like a boutique, or something.
I’d just like ideas. REPUTABLE ONES.
Thanks again.
Many businesses are financially rewarding and a pleasure to conduct. That being said, not all are, as some are less financially rewarding and others are far less than satisfying. As not every shoe fits everyone, the same is to be said about businesses.
First, determine your own preferences; weigh them with your skills; consider the potentiality of each, then balance them out with each other. You must determine your desired goal before choosing a path. If your goal is personal satisfaction, don’t allow finances to be the determinant. Conversely, if your goal is wealth, don’t allow personal satisfaction to dominate your decision. Ideally, it’d be good to have both.
“Do what you love” is great advice, and if you’re good at whatever it is, the money will come. But, be aware that this isn’t always the result, as people tend not to be able “to see the forest, because of all of the trees”!
Buy a used copy of “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Read it, and it’ll help you to envision your career choice more clearly.
May you succeed.
