Hotels in Newark?
I was thinking of staying at the Fairfield Inn and Spring Hill Suites, near the Newark airport. I am planning a vacation in early March to see New York City. Is this a safe place and how is transport to New York?
Usually stay at the Marriott Airport Newark, which is very safe and has an indoor pool. Sometimes if you book in advance you can get a very good rate. You can take a shuttle from hotel to the monorail to and from the airport and go to Penn Station in Newark and take the train from there to New York. I suggest you call and ask how to do that as I remember all the details.
