Holiday Inns Uk
I am a UK citizen who wants to move to the USA. I am not sure what visa i may be eligable for, if any?
Im not sure if i fall under any category that would enable me to gain a visa. I have family there who own several motel chains. The family are only aunts, uncles, first cousins and grandmother- no immediate family. They own chains such as days inn, Holiday inns etc… Do you think they could sponsor me initially?
Yes you can apply for H1B work visa
This is hard to get and you are looking at anything from 6 months to three years for the paper work to move
Your family could offer you a job, you can accept it….the hard thing is your family must prove that you are the only person whom is suitable for the job..ie your the only one whom wants it or the only one qualified. So then less your highly skilled join the queue of might get luckies.
You could also apply for J1 visa, but the most you could stay in the USA is for 18 months and do a internship…this is fairly easy to obtain and takes 3 months ish. Note if you fall in love with an American and marry whilst on a J1 visa, you will have to spend 2 years in the UK before they will let you and your new hubby live together in the USA.
Or you could get a student visa..easy to get if you have some qualifications already and have the funds to support yourself through studies. But once you have completed your course your back to square one, you will have to leave or find a job or marry someone

Holiday Inn $26.59 Holiday Inn is a perennial, Christmas-season favourite from 1942 teamed Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire as entertainers (and rival suitors of Marjorie Reynolds) running an inn that is only open on holidays.
