Historic Inns Ct

Need help naming a town for my setting?

I’m “inventing” a Connecticut town, good-sized but not a city, historic and picturesque in that “tourist-y” kind of way. It’s secretly houses a small population of witches (think “the Salem of CT”) and I just can’t think of a name- help??

Thanks in advance :)

To help you sketch out a pic of it in your mind~ It’s surrounded by quite a bit of wildlife and has many churches, historic buildings, neat inns, and cute little shops. It’s been around since the 1600s and has a spooky reputation for “weird occurrences” that the locals use to their advantage in getting tourist bucks from the morbidly curious.

North Point or
New Point or
Ashbury

All have a strong presence and the “points” create a distinct image in your mind as something important. Ashbury just seems like there is angst or trouble lurking because of the term “ash.”

Hope you find one!
