Hotels in Hollywood are aimed at every imaginable type of traveler and are scattered along this famous neighborhood dedicated to film and television industry. Hollywood Blvd, Highland Avenue, Franklin Boulevard and Sunset Blvd are the main streets, where hotels can be found. No five star hotels, only two out of four stars (third party, the W will open in early 2010), and many families of budget properties. The tour buses and operators away from Hollywood to the locations throughout Los Angeles, and there are many sights and attractions in this area.
At the heart of Hollywood is the new Hollywood and entertainment center Highlands. This complex is full of dozens of shops, restaurants and is home to the Kodak and Mann Grauman's Chinese cinemas. In the exact center of the Hollywood and Highland Center is the Renaissance Hotel. Rooms at the Renaissance has glass windows that treat large guests spectacular views of all of Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles. Across the street from the Renaissance Hollywood Boulevard is a hotel called the Roosevelt. Tracing its roots in the 1920s to today's Roosevelt Hotel is a state of real art pieces redone, lobby and services. The exterior facade still retains its old charm and 1920s the hotel is home to several rooms including Teddy Swank and the Library Lounge. The Walk of Fame with more than 2,300 stars dedicated to celebrities of all kinds line the sidewalks along the stretch of Hollywood Boulevard who are the Renaissance and Roosevelt.
Franklin Avenue runs parallel to Hollywood Blvd and runs on the back of the Hollywood and Highland center. Visitors looking for hotels in Franklin Blvd. and Highland Avenue is here. If Orchid Drive Franklin met there several family properties. These include the Magic Castle Hotel Hollywood Highland Gardens Hotel, Hollywood Celebrity Hotel, Liberty Hotel Suites Hotel and Suites Orchid. All these hotels are clean, efficient, and less than five minutes walk from the Hollywood hills and Entertainment Center. Hotels in Hollywood include Highland Avenue Tower, Best Western Hollywood Plaza, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites. Many of these hotels in Highland have areas of family, including swimming pools, lounges and dining rooms.
Further down in Hollywood about a mile south of the Sierra and Center are Hollywood hotels the economy of Sunset Blvd. These hotels include the engine Rodeway Inn, Days Inn and the motor show south of the Sahara. Unlike Sunset Blvd Hollywood Blvd is directed more at independent travelers and the local LA club are set. The traffic on this stretch of Sunset can be heavy on Friday and Saturday nights.
