Days Inn Hotel New York

NY City trip.. Where to shop, to dine …?

Hello everyone,

My husband and I r visiting NY city tomorrow, and I will stay in ” Holiday Inn express Maspeth” for four days then will spend other three days in ” Four Season New York”

So I am wondering what do u think about my first hotel, is it a good one? what about its location? would I need to rent a car or transportation will b better?

Where should I go for shopping with normal and reasonable prices good brands? and where should i go to dine and spend nice evening? what is the famous and nice places should i visit?

thank u :D

A car is not needed to get around New York City. Public transit is the best way to go. Its cheap and quicker than renting a car or taking a taxi in New York City.

The fare on the subway is $2.25, regardless of distance traveled. However, if you town for a week or two, you can purchase a week or 14-day unlimited ride MetroCard and travel the system for as many times as you wish for one price. The 7-day unlimited ride card will cost you $27, while the 14-day unlimited ride card will cost you $51.50.

Now, if you’re in town for less than a week, you can purchase a 1-day unlimited ride Fun Pass MetroCard for $8.25 and still get unlimited rides anywhere in city for one price.

In regard to shopping, places to go, and places to eat in the Big Apple. May I recommend the following.
