Boston Inns And Hotels

What is interesting, not too expensive, small hotel in Boston?
Go to Boston for 4 days in the summer. Finding more interesting than somethimg Holiday Inn Express. Rather 100.00 range … realize that is probably unrealistic. 150 perhaps? THANKS
I regret to say that the Hotel Midtown is not the least bit interesting. The location is good – about 5 minutes walk from Copley Square. But it is an ugly 2-story building that looks like Thomas was initially built as a motor court, back in the 50s. There is a new-ish small boutique hotel on Copley Square, just across the street from the library and the T-station. His name is John Hancock. Rooms are small, but totally new. They have every amenity. You can not beat the location, price and accommodations, here's his website: http://www.thecharlesmark.com/ price is about $ 150/night..which in Boston is outrageous! Good luck and enjoy this wonderful city.
