Best Inns New England

Vote for the best and worst finales for any television series.?

Best Comedy:
Bob Newhart (waking up in bed with Suzanne Pleschett–his TV wife from the first Bob Newhart show, realizing that life as a New England inn keeper was just a dream.)

Mary Tyler Moore Show (the group hug at the end was hysterical!)

M*A*S*H (loved Hawkeye spelling out goodbye with the rocks was great)

Worst Comedy:
Rosanne (she narrated at the end that the whole thing was just her life as she’d written it in a novel)

Seinfeld (the whole cast ending up in jail)

Best Drama:
China Beach (showing the reunion of all the Vietnam vets years after the war was over. )

Judging Amy (her going to Washington, DC to speak before Congress and Bruce showing up to support her.)

Worst Drama:
7th Heaven (both finales were bad–too unrealistic–3 of their kid expecting twins, taking an RV to travel around the country with God knows how many people and dogs!)

Most series finales are pretty bad.

best drama:

Queer as Folk (did right by all the characters)

worst drama:

Quantum Leap (ending changed the entire show)
Charmed (the show-ruining character lived)

best comedy:

I can’t even think of a good one

worst comedy:

Roseanne (what SalemAlum said)
Will & Grace (Will & Grace spent twenty years apart and only became friends again because their kids were getting married.)
