How can I manage a grandfather who refuses to follow the rules?
My mother refuses to obey the rules we have set for my daughter. My daughter will be 3 next month, and my mil wants my daughter to sleep with her every night. Okay so it can not be a legal matter, but does not feel is right? I do not like the idea at all. I know my mil never touch my daughter, but I still think its gross profit. My daughter has to learn to sleep in his own bed. The rules, such as bedtime, and nap time, are ignored. I was told that I'm being too strict about it. I want to use their manners, I want breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks instead of eating Days All what you want. Anyone have any idea what can I do? I live with my mil, and leaving is not an option for the months atleast a little more … Any help would be appreciated. (And for those of you concerned, I live in Kentucky) My husband is everything I think. We are currently separated, that does not help the situation at all. The sides with his mother, anyway.
Where is your husband on this, it must be backed up. If your thousand refuses to respect its rules and who is living at home, there's really not much you can do except take her daughter to walk as much as possible. Are there any other family member can stay with? That will eliminate much of the problem there. EDIT: I'm with justagra – if your husband is not supporting you up, bail in the first safe opportunity. NOTE EW: I think it does not matter when and what to eat MIL, she is very concerned about what your child eats.
