Hello everyone, I have a weekend off before and I would like to treat myself to one end of special week in Santa Barbara. I'm just familiar with the hotels and Bed & Breakfast Inns around. When you're online all seem promising, but can not afford to choose the wrong place. I really need a good getaway. I'm looking for something with a cozy, elegant, sad but inexpensive. There are not "cozy, shabby chic but cheap 'hotels or bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara. I've lived here since 1984. There are many cozy B and / or hotels and quaint B & Shabby Chic but not cheap. Having said that … The closest thing to what I want is the old Yacht Club Bed and Breakfast. It is located at 431 Corona Del Mar Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93103, (805) 962-1277. It is quite cheap and is a B & B, but not super luxury. It is one block from the beach, East Beach and two miles of State Street. That is where you usually recommend for people who are looking for what you want. If you are looking some cool, flashy style restaurants, send me an e-mail. SB I know.
