Bed And Breakfast Paris Ky

I visited the Key West Shrimp House for dinner July 29, 2009. First impression: "Cozy, quaint and comfortable. The restaurant was busy so I do not asked to take pictures inside. He looked and sounded like a lot of tourists or visitors from out of state, possibly, residents of the Inn of the ship located on the hill just above the Key West Shrimp House. I realize plates Ohio, Kentucky and Idaho, and heard a man on the table next to me and said, "was chosen this place offline. "I was easily dropping? No. He spoke so loud I could hear every word. He also said:" The doctor tells me I have to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. "" I do not know how I'll handle that. "

I ordered Shrimp-In-A-Net for $ 12.99. The meal included a trip to the salad bar, fries or rice (I chose French fries) and a bowl of fat, juicy shrimp. The waitress brought shrimp netted and served in the bowl gave birth to my table. He said: "alive." I forgot to ask "why" in which acts in this way. The sauce was a bit on the warm side but not too hot that I could not stand, and size pieces of shrimp were very good on shrimp around ten pieces in all I think.

Since I chose the salad bar bean salad, slaw, a salad of corn and potato salad. There were bindings regular tomato salad, lettuce and the usual things in a salad bar.

I sat as one and as if a tourist from out of state too. I had a great and relaxed as I ate french fries and shrimp. I had to peel the shrimp outside. I never fried anything. My drink was water with lemon (always save some money and makes a very good lemon drink with artificial sweetener added).

My impression of food: Excellent. I will definitely eat there again, especially when I'm anxious to shrimp well. I'll try something different off the menu next time.

My impression of the service: Excellent. No reservation required. The restaurant was busy, but big enough so I had to wait for a table. Everyone was friendly and courteous.

A small entry that wait to be seated. While sitting, I went through the main dining room, which was longer than wide (much like the shotgun-style houses, but wider). In this room were the bathrooms and the salad bar. The next room was a bar with stools where I suppose you can sit and have a drink or drinks. There were several tables of different sizes established in this field. I sat by the window. A few steps up lead to another room with windows everywhere.

The number of West Shrimp House is a family-oriented family. Located at 117 Ferry Street. The menu had a wide variety of seafood and meat and chicken. His specialty is shrimp. This restaurant has a beautiful view of the Ohio River from the main dining room of the very back where there are windows on three sides of the room.
The history of this building to be built again in the 1800s as are many old buildings in Madison. It was the button factory in mussel shells were brought from the river and the mother of pearl buttons were punched out of the shells. The owners of Key West Shrimp House say that there have been no changes in the original basic structure. The lower level is very similar to the construction of the ancient Roman walls of the days before Christianity.

If you like camping instead of staying in motels, hotels or a bed and a private breakfast, you can camp across the street from the number of shrimp in the West House and the River Ohio. After dinner, I took some pictures of the area surrounding the restaurant.

From the look of your wine, serving wine from far and near. The list included (this is by far not a complete list):

 • White wine: Mystique, Madison Vineyards is a sweet white wine made from grapes property cultivated, Chardonnay, Chateau St. Jean (Sonoma Valley, California); Goldtröpfchen Piesporter Spätlese, Leonard Kreusch, Germany is light and fruity with floral aromas.

 • Red Wine: Beaujolais-Villages, Louis Jadot (Beaune, Côte d'Or, France) is light and fruity, Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Opal (Australia) is rich and smooth with depth of fruit and oak, with Tannisho a smooth finish.

 • Blush Wines

 • Sparkling Wines

They had seven different brands of beer on the menu as well as mixed drinks twenty-seven. As noted above, I drank water. I was driving and not drinking and driving, even a glass of wine.
Final impression: This is a great place to eat especially if you like shrimp!
