Traveling to the Netherlands, France, Germany?
We (2 people) are traveling to the Netherlands on July 2 and staying there for two weeks. we plan to go to France, Germany, Belgium, Could someone recommend which places to go for landscape photography, museums or any attractions?
Since we are not renting a car, and we also prefer to stay at a countryside inns, what is the best transportation method that saves money to go from city to city? Thanks a lot.
Going from city to city you best take the train.
Not always the cheapest, but mostly the most convenient. From the cities to the villages, where you find many of the countryside inns, you can sometimes still take trains, if local ones. But in many cases you will have to rely on local buses or even taxis.
If you want to visit all 4 countries in those same 2 weeks you will see nothing but the inside of the trains, unless you stay in the south east of the Netherlands and keep your visits to Germany and France to no more than one day each. Traveling does take a lot of time, certainly if you have to depend on the local trains and buses.
