Is Big Sur Walkable?
I am trying to find a fun place to go to next summer. I have been to Monterey and passed through Big Sur and loved it.
The only thing is, is that I would anly take public transport.
I can fly to Monterey and then take a bus down to River Inn (where I would be staying in Riverside Campground & Cabins).
Is it possible to walk to the various awesome Big Sur destinations from Riverside?

(I mean northern Big Sur, Pfeiffer and Molera area)
Big Sur is not a very large place for avid walkers, and the place you plan to be staying is right there. So I would say yes, you can walk to the best sights. I would also expect that there will be bikes to rent if you want to go a little bit further afield.
Have a great time!
